April in Laguna Beach is a love letter to fresh starts. Sunlight stretches longer and the ocean breeze carries the scent of citrus and salt. My weekends always begin at the farmers market, baskets filled with sun-ripened fruit and fresh yogurt. Afternoons? Always reserved for hands in the soil, planting what will soon hopefully bloom, grounding in the warmth of the season (except if there are lizards or bugs, you can find me running for the hills and catch it all on my ring camera).
Then, there’s my morning ritual of squeezing oranges, their sweetness a taste of early summer, and watercolor sessions where the colors blend like the golden hour. Long walks with the dogs match the energy of the season: alive, bright, and full of possibility. April is a reminder to savor the simple, the sunlit, the fresh.
