August MOOD

Maybe it’s because shells were the original muses of interior design; with their spirals, soft pinks, and pearlescent layers – but my obsession with them has always felt innate. There’s something inherently poetic about their journey: once the delicate homes of sea-dwelling creatures, they’re now timeworn treasures that wash ashore, ready to be rediscovered. Each one sculpted by the tides, sun-bleached and wind-worn…and somehow, they always find their way into our spaces.

In August, when the days feel a little slower and the sunsets a little longer, I’m drawn to the quiet beauty of things that feel lived-in and loved. Shells remind me that even the smallest details can hold entire stories. And that nature, in all her mystery, often creates the most timeless design of all.
